Practical AI for the Overworked Pastor
Pastors and Elders of small churches don’t have it easy. You are overworked and have limited funding for staff, resources, or extra help. You didn’t study to be a Pastor to do administration yet you can’t ignore it either. Responding to emails, putting together a weekly newsletter, managing volunteers, training, the list never ends.
Forget the sci-fi debates and the “robots taking over the world” fear-mongering. I don’t do that here.
Instead, I treat AI as it should be treated: A steward’s tool for efficiency.
This newsletter is a practical toolkit. I test the tools, I write the prompts, and I build the workflows so you don’t have to. I’ll also highlight new trends in AI that affect churches along with ethical implications of AI.
What you can expect:
No “Tech-Bro” Jargon: Simple, plain English explanations of tools like ChatGPT, Gemini, Grok, and Claude.
Copy-Paste Prompts: Don’t know what to ask the AI? I’ll give you the exact text to copy.
Sermon Prep Workflows: How to turn one sermon into small group questions, social media posts, and emails in under 20 minutes. How to use AI to study and research in preparation for the sermon.
What to Expect
Join the list to get my weekly article on the state of Church tech and one practical tip or tool you can use immediately. From time to time I’ll also highlight digital products or services that will help you save time and help you do more ministry.
